- Your recordings and notes are yours. You let us process them only to run Pamo for you.
- You're responsible for having permission to record people.
- AI can be wrong. Check before you rely on or share anything Pamo writes.
- Paid plans and credits are sold through Google Play. Recording is always free.
- You can stop using Pamo and delete your account at any time.
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Sparse Technologies Limited, the maker of Pamo. By using Pamo you accept them, along with our privacy policy. If you use Pamo for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these terms for it.
Who can use Pamo
You must be 16 or older. You can use Pamo without an account on your phone. Some features, like keeping your sessions safe in our cloud, monthly free credits and purchases, need you to sign in. Keep your sign-in safe; you're responsible for what happens in your account.
Your content
Recordings, notes, slides and everything Pamo makes from them (transcripts, recaps, reports, answers) belong to you, as far as they belong to anyone. You give us permission to store, copy and process them only to provide Pamo to you, including sending them to the providers listed on our subprocessors page. This permission ends when you delete the content, apart from the short backup period in our privacy policy.
We don't use your content to train AI models.
Recording other people
Laws about recording conversations differ between countries, states and workplaces. Some require everyone's consent. You're responsible for:
- having the right to record each session,
- telling people when the law or the situation calls for it,
- following your organisation's rules, and
- stopping or deleting a recording if you don't have permission.
Pamo offers a recording notice and reminders, but they don't replace your responsibility. See Recording responsibly.
Acceptable use
Don't use Pamo to:
- record people secretly where that's against the law,
- break the law or anyone's rights, including privacy and copyright,
- harass, threaten or harm anyone,
- try to get into other people's accounts or data,
- overload, probe or break our systems, or get around limits and credits,
- copy, resell or reverse engineer Pamo, except where the law allows it.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
AI features
Transcripts, recaps, reports, answers and suggestions are made by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Pamo shows where each line came from so you can check. Don't rely on AI output alone for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. Check anything before you share it.
Plans, credits and payments
- Recording is free and never uses credits.
- Paid plans and top-ups are sold through Google Play, which handles payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds under its own terms.
- Subscriptions renew until you cancel in Google Play. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep your credits until the end of the period you paid for.
- Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred or sold, and can only be used in Pamo. Plan credits on Plus and Pro roll over for one month; top-up credits last 12 months; Free credits don't roll over.
- If a job fails, its credits come back automatically.
- We may change prices or what actions cost. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a change affects a subscription you already have.
- Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in Google Play first.
Changes and availability
We work to keep Pamo running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Recording works offline, but features that need the internet may be unavailable at times. We may change or stop features; if we stop a paid feature, we'll give you a fair refund or credit for what you haven't used.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Pamo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. If we close Pamo altogether, we'll give at least 60 days' notice so you can export your sessions.
Liability
Pamo is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by relying on AI output without checking it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@pamoai.com so we can try to sort it out. If you're a consumer, you have the protection of the laws where you live and can bring claims there.
Changes to these terms
We'll tell you in the app or by email before important changes take effect. If you keep using Pamo after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
